The NABCEP CE Conference has been postponed to a later undetermined date in light of nationwide cancellations related to COVID-19, or the coronavirus. The continuing education summit was originally scheduled to take place from March 16 to 19 in St. Charles, Missouri.
“This was a difficult decision for us to make. We worked hard over the past few weeks to understand the risks and create a safe environment for professionals to come and learn, but we feel that it is the right path to take,” said Sue McKeen, NABCEP business manager, in an emailed statement. “The NABCEP CE Conference is an extremely important event for the solar industry, and it is one of our favorite ways to connect with the people who support our mission and want to get training from industry-leading experts. We made this decision to show our commitment to the health and safety of that community, and we didn’t feel right about hosting the CE Conference at this time due to the increased threat.”
NABCEP is working with the St. Charles Convention Center on rescheduling the event, and the new dates will be released when determined. If anyone has booked a room at Embassy Suites, the venue’s hotel, cancellations can be made by calling 1-800-Embassy.
