Efficiency Maine has doubled their heat pump rebate program, increasing the total available per home from $750 to $1,500 for select units!
Also exciting – and relatively new – is the update and renewal of the federal Energy Star Tax Credit which offers an additional $300 tax credit for heat pump installs (with lots of nuances since this particular rebate has been around for a while and if you have taken other efficiency upgrades you may not be eligible for the update).
