At Green Mountain Energy, this year’s Employee Appreciation Day kicked off with a celebration for receiving the 2019 Retail Energy Provider of the Year Award from Energy Marketing Conferences. The award was presented at the 13th semiannual Energy Marketing Conference that took place in Houston on March 3, 2020.

Our employees get up every day thinking about how to help our customers reduce their environmental impact and trying to reduce our own impact at work and at home while we are at it.

Green Mountain was one of seven nominees for the REP of the Year Award. According to a press release by Energy Marketing Conferences, they select companies who have exemplified real leadership in the retail energy industry by having a strong reputation with their customers, providing competitively priced electricity and showing a commitment to the environment by offering renewable options and supporting solar. Companies are also evaluated based on their contribution to their communities by making generous donations to important causes.
